PTO Traffic Committee is excited to announce parking and signage changes to the 4500 Block of Holly Street for 2016-2017!
Prior to the start of the 2016-2017 school year, The City of Bellaire will move/add No Parking Signage on the 4500 Block of Holly Street. These changes will help ensure the safety of our students and their families as they arrive and dismiss from Horn’s Campus via Holly Street.
4500 Block Holly Street residents were recently made aware of the upcoming changes by the City of Bellaire. These parking/signage changes will affect all Horn Families who use Holly Street to arrive/dismiss/exit Carpool Lane.
2016-2017 Changes include:
1. Removal of No Parking Signs from the North side of Holly Street, between Newcastle Street and Horn’s Carpool Lane Exit.
** Vehicles will be allowed to park on this portion of Holly Street, to gain safe access to/from the sidewalk leading to Horn’s Campus.
2. Installation of No Parking Signs on the South side of Holly Street, from Newcastle Street to Avenue B.
** Vehicles will be prohibited from parking on the South side of Holly Street, to prevent the safety hazard of pedestrians crossing in front of moving traffic to enter Horn’s Campus. School days only at arrival and dismissal times.
Horn PTO and Administration are grateful to the City of Bellaire and Bellaire Police for working with us to keep our students safe during arrival and dismissal.

Have a great summer and thank you for helping us safely Go With The Flow!
Spirit Nights are a time for Horn families and supporters to go to a restaurant for dinner. Flyers are sent home in the red folders.
These flyers are to be given to the server when the bill is paid, or just mention Horn if you do not have the flyer. The restaurant then returns a portion of their proceeds from the night back to Horn. This is a fun way to meet other families or spot your teacher and enjoy a great meal at the same time.
If you shop at Target or Randalls there is another great way to support Horn. For Target shoppers just let them know you would like to link your Target RedCard to Horn Elementary (in Bellaire…..there are 2 Horn Elementary’s in Houston).
For Randalls shoppers, please take the flyer in the red folders to customer service and they can help you.
